My role for the past 15 years has been almost exclusively supervisory and non-technical in nature. I’ve be hoping to land a technical role for a while now, and it’s a little bittersweet to say that one landed in my lap.
I have a chance to use my skills to do technical support. In addition to my existing roles, I am not supporting customers with more elaborate and challenging concerns – for the first time in 21 year.
This unexpected opportunity just began in January of this year. I’m always looking for something for my résumé. Wish me luck.
